#Productivity Is getting over procrastination a New Year’s resolutions of yours? The Pomodoro technique is your new tool to keep you laser focused while you get things done. The technique goes as follows: Work 25 mins, break 5 mins, repeat 3 more times with the 4th break being 15 mins. Repeat the cycle! It's a simple way to keep you on track and ensure that you are as productive as possible for any type of work. Research shows that routine breaks while working can boost pr...oductivity significantly; however, breaks that are too long or short can be more distracting and take longer to bounce back into work. One of the biggest advantages of the Pomodoro technique is that it is highly customizable to your work ethic and the specific work you are doing. For example, if you find yourself to stay focused on a task for close to 40 mins, then adapt a cycle that has 40 minute work sessions and then a 5 minute break. The simplest way to implement the technique is to take your phone and start a timer. However, there are plenty of apps and websites to help you track your cycles. Be sure to give the Pomodoro technique a shot as you embark your next decade! Drop a comment if you have a productivity tip or if you find the Pomodoro Technique useful! #pomodoro #studyhack #productivity #newyearnewme #resolution #premed #medicine #doctor #medical #undergrad #work #hustle
