Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event. In times of uncertainty, residents of our communities look to their leaders for guidance and reassurance. As leaders in our communities, we are taking every precaution to protect our patients and team members. Our clinic will remain open so that we can continue to serve our patients, who rely on us for their care. The Prescott Family Health Team will be initiating new procedures... beginning today. Where possible, appointments will be transitioned to phone appointments and you will need an appointment to enter the building. We will no longer be accepting walk-ins of any kind in order to protect our: visitors, third parties, volunteers and staff. Additionally, until otherwise notified all Chronic Disease Management (CDM) clinics will be closed. Patients enrolled in CDM programs are the most vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic we are facing and the Prescott Family Health Team is making every effort to protect these susceptible individuals. At this time The Prescott Family Health Team is OUT OF COVID-19 TESTING KITS. We are unsure when we will receive new testing kits but when we do we will update this page and our website accordingly. Furthermore, if you are experiencing ANY of the flowing... - Cough - Fever - Any respiratory symptoms or - You have recently traveled from anywhere outside Canada in the last two weeks - You have been in contact with someone who has recently traveled (and returned to Canada within the last 2 weeks) - You have been in contact with someone with someone with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 or undiagnosed respiratory symptoms Please do not enter the clinic at this time. If you have questions regarding this please call the office and speak to a receptionist. Otherwise please call the Health Unit. We are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy visit to either of our clinics. The health and safety of our patients, team members, and residents of our surrounding communities remains at the forefront of all our thinking and actions.
