Balance... elusive isn’t it? How many times have you thought to yourself... I need more balance in my life!! Truth is we are all juggling. Families, households, careers, friends, health; all of which have ever changing elements. So in reality, we may find balance for a hot minute and then it’s off again. I’ve been working at coming to terms that life will continue to feel unbalanced. I will no longer wish or work towards this. What I work for is being present in all areas ...of my life so I can prioritize and find more flow in my life. There will be moments of equilibrium and when I’m present, I’m aware and grateful. Take a moment for this today, notice the transition, the flow, the moments of balance, stillness and be present with yourself. Day 2: Balance: Begin in Mountain Pose; standing, pressing into both feet, arms at side, palms facing forward, fingertips spread & reaching towards the earth. Crown of head is lifting and chin is parallel to ground. Take 5 full rounds of breath here. Shift weight into left foot, opening right knee towards the right, with right foot placed at ankle, calf or inner thigh, continue to open knee to right keeping hips even. Hands resting in prayer at your heart. Find your balance here, there is no where else to be, nothing else to do. Only you, your breath and body. Maybe you close your eyes. Take 5 breaths here in Tree pose once you find your balance. Transition back through Mountain and repeat on other side finishing in Mountain pose. Tag your friends to join you and share below how you approach finding balance in your life.

Tis’ the season... Here is my real talk. This holiday season will look & feel different and I’m feeling like I need to sit with it for minute. What does this mean?? Maybe you can relate, this year has been challenging and unpredictable in ways I couldn’t have imagined. (I’ll share more about this soon.)... How have I handled it? How are you handling it? How will we continue to move through it? I’ve struggled this year personally. The coping mechanisms that I turned to in the past (avoidance, numbing the feelings, distraction, smile and hide everything...) surfaced as a way to make it through. There is an invitation to stay present, through the anxiety, uncertainty, grief-ups & downs. I’d like to invite YOU to join us here, on social, to practice 12 Days of Presence. Day 1: STOP your scroll. Close your eyes. Hands to rest. Inhale deeply, exhale fully. Do it again, again...10 times. THIS moment is the only place you have to be. You are here. Now.
