Fantastic news for BC businesses of all sizes. Amendments to the Employment Standards Act will bring in three days of paid sick leave related to COVID-19. To get the most out of using an ASL interpreter in your large business’ workplace (in-person OR virtually), it’s a good idea to educate yourself about what an interpreter does and how they facilitate communication. Another addition to web accessibility. The website platform Wix has introduced an accessibility tool that prompts the person, while creating their website, to tackle basic pieces of website accessibility.
