The grade one students went outside because the weather was beautiful on Tuesday! They started their new math unit on linear measurement. The photos show them learning how to use a centimetre ruler to measure leaves and twigs.

Remembrance Day is commemorated on November 11th each year and marks the end of World War I in 1918. Prestige School will pause at 11am to honour the men and women who have served and continue to serve Canada. #lestweforget

As Thanksgiving may look a little different this year, there is lots to be thankful for. We are thankful to have you as part of our Prestige community.

Within a week, Prestige students were able to collect an extraordinary amount of food and tolietries. We visited Toronto Fire Station 121 and they were amazed with your generosity. A huge thank you to Ms. Ivana and the grade 3s for organizing and making it another successful year!

Picture Day is tomorrow! Students must wear the school crested white top, school crested vest, navy dress pants or skirt, and black dress shoes for Picture Day.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, Prestige School is doing its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. A food donation box is placed in the front foyer in hopes to receive non perishable food donations/hygiene products from students and their families. At the end of this period, the donation box will be delivered to the local Community Food Bank. Families are welcome to make as many donations as they feel comfortable.

A reminder to all parents and students that Picture Day is this Friday! Remember to wear your full school uniform!

Prestige School DECA members are currently taking part of the three day Fall Symposium. Our young leaders will learn about ways to success in this year’s unique DECA landscape, and enhance their leadership skills.
