Kindy Area is almost complete!!! Congratulations Preston Public School on working as a family/team to make a difference for our kids! We have an outdoor kindy classroom under a newly planted tree from last year, fresh new mulch (you have to smell it:) a new walkway by the sand box of limestone shavings with log obstacles and newly trimmed trees ready for the kids to decorate. A BIG thank you to Isley Landscaping for once again going above and beyond our expectations!!! (Additions to come are dirt play boxes, water wall and art boards)

It's almost back to school time! You may have received a recorded call from the school this evening from Mr. McMath, our new Principal. Here is a quick summary: - It is not necessary to buy lots of back to school supplies. The school will provide all necessities. Perhaps consider a board game or deck of cards and spend time with your child(ren). - Please remember that outside and inside schools are required to help keep our school clean. - Class lists will be posted ...on the outer doors this Friday at 4 pm. - School begins Tuesday September 6th at 9:15 am. - Meet the Family Night will take place Thursday September 8th from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. The school will be open and you will have an opportunity to look around and say a casual hello to friends, family, and staff. School Council will have BBQ'ed hot dogs, burgers, chips and drinks available for purchase. See more

Thank you so much to the Grand River Conservation Foundation for their grant towards Preston Public Panda's Greening Project for $500. We are so excited to add to our tree canopy!

If anyone has any chocolate bars and/or money at home, please bring it into the office as soon as possible!

Heads up PPS Parents! School Council meeting is Tuesday April 19th at 7pm! All are welcome! Hope we see you there!

Our chocolate bar fundraiser is in full swing! Fantastic nut free Lamontagne chocolate, made in Canada no less! Buy a bar and support phase two and three of our school yard greening project!

The Easter Bunny has been to Central Park. Come on down today for the free hunt starting at 11 am!

Preston Public School wants to thank the Region of Waterloo for their very generous grant of $3000 towards our schools greening project!

Make it Sow seed orders are here! They will be sent home with students Monday and/or Tuesday. They should all fit into each student's back pack or school bag too. Super convenient. It was a very successful fundraiser!
