Exciting News! We are diligently preparing to reopen and welcome you back to Prestonvale Dental. We have been working hard over the last few weeks to ensure the safest, most secure environment for our patients, staff and community. We have implemented several new precautions and we would like to briefly outline them to you. 1. Please bring your own mask to your appointment. ... Masks will be worn at all times while in the office except when we are working on your gorgeous smiles. 2. Prior to your appointment you will receive a phone call to do a virtual health and Covid screening 3. Please brush and floss at home before your appointment. 4. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment and wait in our virtual waiting room. This would be your car or just outside the office. 5. Our greeter will meet you outside to take your temperature using a contactless thermometer and will review more health questions and ask you to hand sanitize. 6. We are limiting the number of people within the office to practice social distancing. Please arrive alone for your appointment and if necessary, younger patients can be accompanied by one healthy adult. 7. Once seated in the dental chair, every patient will rinse with an oral pre-rinse before beginning dental treatment. 8. Patience please! These guidelines are new and in place to ensure the highest level of safety for everyone! 9. If you feel unwell or have symptoms of any kind - cough, fever, shortness of breath, headache, runny nose, sore throat, or digestive issues, please call ahead to reschedule your appointment. Today we showed appreciation to our frontline workers, Clarington Emergency & Fire Services Station#4. We delivered them a delicious lunch and special dental loot bags so they can keep up their good oral hygiene even while on duty! Thank you to our firefighters for working so hard everyday to keep is safe so we can stay home.

Mother’s Day may not be the same for many of us this year but let’s celebrate all of the special women in our lives that do so much everyday. Now more than ever we want to send our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all the Moms and wish them a heartfelt Mother’s Day! Prestonvale Dental

To our valued patients and friends of Prestonvale Dental, The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) strongly recommends that all non-essential and elective dental services be suspended immediately. We are following guidelines and closing our office effective March 16th for two weeks. We hope to reopen at the beginning of April pending advice from the RCDSO and Public Health. If you are having a dental emergency please call our office (905) 240 - 7774 and leave... a message. We will be regularly checking voicemails and will do our best to triage your concern by phone. If you are having an immediate dental emergency please proceed to a Hospital for emergency care. Your health and safety are the most important.
