I absolutely love learning new things-especially baking things! So the other day I had a customer ask if I had ever made a King Cake for anyone. No, not me. What's a King Cake? After chatting with her and asking Google for more info I learned that it is, in essence, a large cousin to a cinnamon roll with delicious pecans and cinnamon in the filling. It is a traditional dessert to help celebrate Mardi Gras. Well, her wish/craving will come true this week! I am super excited to try this out and dig in to some myself (I guess I will have to share with the family). Can't wait to show you all how it turns out!
