When people get their first dog they can be sold anything. We had a 5 month old pup that we'd bred who showed up in a pronged collar. The owner didn't know any better and claimed that is what the trainer wanted her to use. Needless to say, she switched to a regular collar immediately when she was educated!

Our dear Fuzzy died of Lymphoma in March. The vet said most lymphomas are caused by pesticides and other lawn chemicals. We have never used chemicals in our yard, but I can't say that for the neighbours, and the City of Vancouver uses Glyphosate (aka Roundup). Maybe we should all be suing the city when our animals pay the ultimate price!

Dr. Peter has been saying this for years, but yet so many people are still using retractable leashes. Please spread the word that they are not a good choice!
