This photo shows a cracked heat exchanger from a furnace in town. The occupants of this home were very lucky that with quick action Powell River Fire Rescue they found the source of the dangerous gases leaking from the furnace and It was shut down immediately. This is why it is so important to get your furnace serviced annually and to invest in a CO detector. This furnace was replaced in short order by our team with a new natural gas unit.
