It is with regret that we once again will be keeping our doors completely closed. We feel it is most important to encourage all to stay at home and stay safe. We will re-evaluate in a few days and keep you updated here and on our website. Stay home, get your weeding done, your shrubs trimmed and your pots ready for all the great colour we hope to be able to get to you soon!!

The staff at the Prickly Pear know that gardening is a source of joy for many of us during these days of uncertainty. In order to help you stay in your gardens and stay a safe social distance we are implementing the following service: We are offering Parking-Lot Pick up at the Pear!... - Give us a call with your order at (604) 241-4717 - We will fill it and process your credit card over the phone - You can drive up to one of our parking stalls where we can load your purchase into your trunk or hatch **In order to maintain safe social distances we ask that you stay in your car or a minimum of 12 feet (2 metres) away from our staff and other customers. You have our assurance that any plants we pick out for you will be of our usual high quality and if we wouldn't take them to our own gardens we won't expect you to take them to yours. Please note: we will be temporarily shortening our operating hours. We will be open for pick-up orders from 10:00am-5:00pm until further notice. This has been a very hard and emotional decision, but one we feel is the best for both our staff and customers. We also appeal to everyone to stay home and stay safe, so we can get through this and back to work and our gardens soon!
