Bread, crackers, pasta, and even too much fruit all converts to glucose in the body. When glucose levels are elevated, the body cannot absorb vitamin C which leads to a compromised immune system. Quick tip for people slamming down juice to "boost immune function with vitamin C". Moderate amounts of seasonal fruit is a great choice however overdoing it can quickly turn toxic.

Primal health tip- STOP USING MICROWAVES Almost all foods contain some form of fatty acids. These are critical for our health. When you microwave any food, due to the unnatural heating method, it oxidizes the fats effectively altering the fatty acid profile. This turns all fats into trans fats which are highly inflammatory and toxic to the body. The convenience of microwaving food makes it a difficult thing to give up, however I encourage you to consider the downside and choose a safer heating method.
