WE ARE RECRUITING ORCHESTRA MEMBERS AT "HANA Orchestra"! Any "UofT student (undergraduate, graduate, etc)" who is able to play violin, viola, cello, bass, the flute and clarinet are welcome to join. This is our second round of recruitment and the last recruitment will be held in May so don’t worry if you’re bombarded with exams or work, we will still be recruiting! ... -- About Us -- The HANA Orchestra(HANAO) is an Amateur Classical Music performing group, founded by Dr. SH Han in January 2020, to provide for the Korean students who are studying in U of T but not majored in music an opportunity to join an Orchestral music performance. The mission of HANAO is to give a motivation to build the bond of friendship among the Korean students in U of T, to provide a fine Classical Music performances for the communities through regular concerts and appearances of various internal events which will take place in U of T (if requested) with wide range of repertoires from baroque to contemporary, to revive the local Classical Music concerts, and to enhance the quality of the cultural life of Greater Toronto Area. -- Audition Details -- Positions: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Clarinet Qualifications: Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass): - Able to play 3rd position or higher - Able to play with vibrato Flute: - Able to play 2 octave scales or further - Able to reach 3 octave G Clarinet: - Able to play 2 octave scales or further - Able to transpose keys if necessary Audition repertoires : One piece of participant’s choice Location: 47 Risebrough Ave, North York, ON Date: April 4th, 2020 Time: Orientation is at 5:00PM.
