Hiring a contractor with insurance and training, the contractor is then responsible for him and his employees. The homeowner is protected from any fines or jail time. Ask for a clearance certificate.

During the house framing, it is important to ensure all outside cavities are insulated. This is important becouse after the sub floor is installed, there are cavities like this that can not be reached. This will keep heat from escaping your home, keeping heat costs at a minimum.
