As concerned owners of Primex Training Centre Inc. we have currently suspended all training courses at this time. Primex has implemented the highest aseptic classroom practices. We recommend all non-mandatory training remain cancelled until Public Health Officials advise otherwise. However, any training that must be done is available for small class sizes with large enough classrooms to accommodate appropriate social distancing to minimize the risk of viral transmission. We h...ave developed a detailed Public Emergency Health Plan and an updated Policy for Classroom Aseptic Techniques. Please contact us directly if you have questions regarding the measures we have put into place. As requested by Public Health Officials we are asking anyone who exhibits any signs and symptoms of cold or flu to stay home (they will not be permitted to be in any classes). In turn, our instructors will not attend to any client’s facilities or classes if they exhibit any symptoms and return to work will only be done in consultation with a doctor or Public Health official. Students and companies will not be billed for individuals who miss class due to illness. Our primary concern is for the health and welfare of our clients and preventing the spread of the current pandemic. For any immediate safety and training needs we are here for you. We have a trained medical professional available and will implement the highest aseptic techniques should safety and training need to be done during this time of extreme caution.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a wonderful new year to all of our customers and friends. 2018 was a wonderful year working with all of you. We are all looking forward to 2019. May the season’s blessings and all of the gatherings with family and friends bring you joy and happiness.

In light of the tragic events that took place on April 6, 2018 , just north of Tisdale, SK, where 15 members of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team were killed in a terrible accident, all three of us at Primex would like to send our deepest condolences to all those affected by this awful tragedy. All of us, as Canadians, know that hockey is engrained in who we are as people. But as important as hockey is to those of us in smaller communities, what’s even more important Is that s...ense of community and family, and the knowledge that in times of need you can count on your neighbors, both near and far. And here, in the wake of this terrible incident, we have once again seen an amazing outpouring of support and solidarity from across the hockey community, local communities, province, country, and even the world. We at Primex join in this solidarity by not only offering our heartfelt sympathy, but also by encouraging others to join us in being present in those affected communities and helping anywhere that’s needed. As well, in every Primex-led course for the foreseeable future, we will be providing students with the opportunity to donate to the cause, through a variety of options.

Remembrance day is a time to remember the horror of war and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It is also a time to honour those who currently serve in roles to protect us and our freedoms. We hear much in the news of those who abuse their position but little of the vast majority who serve with honour and self sacrifice. Let's also remember that, while it is a day of sadness and mourning, it is also a day of celebration. We would be remiss if we did not celebrate the freedom we have because of those who sacrificed to achieve and maintain it.
