The Prince Albert Police Service would like to advise our followers that our post and picture published earlier today regarding File #2020-9524, fraudulent use of stolen credit card has been retracted and deleted. Video provided and obtained by investigators regarding the fraudulent use of the card was not the correct video and the person depicted in the images was not the person involved in the fraud. Police have spoken with the individual in the posted pictures and have a...pologized for this error. Correct video has been obtained and the investigation continues to identify a suspect.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the male seen in the attached surveillance video photos in connection with a robbery at a business in the 2700 Block of 15th Avenue East earlier this week. On Sunday, April 12, 2020, police were dispatched to the business for a report that a male had threatened staff at the store with a bottle and a knife before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash and a bottle of Butane. The incident happened just before 8 p.m. on ...Sunday. No one was injured. The male seen in the surveillance video is described as wearing dark clothing and glasses with distinctive writing on the back of his jacket. File 2019-37116 - Robbery Police were called to a business in the 400 Block of 15th St. E. late Sunday night for a report of an armed robbery. The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Cigarettes, lottery tickets and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken. One male suspect is reported to have been carrying a knife, while a second male is reported to have had a hand gun.
