Today, let's remember Charles the Jam Man -- a generous advocate for the City of Prince Albert and our Kinsmen Club. Charles had a long history of involvement with local charitable organizations, and he came to be well-known and appreciated for his tireless support of Telemiracle. His jams were great, and his sales were popular. His passing is a great loss for our community, and his legacy will live on for years to come.

From PA-NOW today: The Kinsmen Club is marking 100 years of service in Canada. Brad Amy, former president of the Prince Albert Kinsmen Club, said the national organization’s roots in Canada can be traced back to Hamilton, Ont. The initial motivation to begin the club was to give young men a way to help their communities, he said. The longtime Kinsmen member said since the local club was established just over 90 years ago, they have made some real contributions to the community.
