Welcome or welcome back! We register students continuously throughout the school year between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm. No appointments are ever needed, but if you'd like to call ahead to make one to make sure we can meet with you when you arrive, our number is 705-945-7194. If you are a returning student, when you come in, you'll update your personal information, Health Card information and choose your classes. You can continue where you left off. ... For new students, to register you must be between 16-21 years of age. Please bring in 2 pieces of identification and your transcript/credit counselling summary from your previous school. Students earn credits for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), which requires 30 credits, 40 hours of community service hours, and the Literacy Requirement. This is the same diploma offered at high schools across our city and province. Prince Charles Secondary is one program within the Algoma Education Connection (AEC), the high school under which three Algoma District School Board alternative education programs fall under. The three programs of AEC include Prince Charles Secondary on Northern Avenue; the Sault College Connection Program located in a classroom at Sault College (for students under 21 who only need 6 or fewer credits), 705-759-2554 ; and Kina Awiiya Secondary Program located on the second floor of Etienne Brule, formerly Urban Aboriginal High School (ages 16-65+), 705-945-7122.

Summer has arrived, and although classes have ended, our Secretarial Staff will be on site during the summer. We look forward to seeing you in the fall. We are in our last week of classes, June 19-23 with exams scheduled next week, June 26-30.
If you are looking for summer school options, stop in to see our Guidance Counsellor. There are numerous options ranging from elearning to dual credits to traditional summer school day classes and Co-op if you have a summer job lined up.
The school year is almost at an end. Regular classes end June 23, 2017 with exams scheduled in the days following. Check in with your teacher for your exam dates, or for deadlines specific to our graduates.
Easter break is coming up this weekend. The school will be closed Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 17, 2017 for an extended holiday weekend.
March Break is March 13-17, 2017, so the school will be closed.
