Understanding the Importance of Worshiping God

A word of encouragement Do you remember that feeling of being the new apprentice? You may of known a few things about your trade or profession before you started your full time job. When you started there were so many new details to remember but your supervisor or boss would only give you so many tasks. You worked your way up, learning a little here and a little there. Soon you were the one that was helping the new apprentice. In the Christian walk, sometimes we don’t cu...t any slack to the new convert or maybe it is a person that is not been walking that long with the Lord. We need to encourage each other as we go through life. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Colossians 3:12-14 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Romans 12:10 We are the elect of God, we are all the same. Some may know more scriptures, or some may pray more eloquently, some may be great orators (speakers). God see’s us as his children, ALL the same. We have different gifts, different callings, but they all come from the same God. What I am thankful for, for myself and each one of you, is that we have the same GREAT TEACHER. The Holy Spirit, leads us and encourages us and teaches us as we are open to the leading of the Spirit. Encourage each other to go farther with the Lord, reach higher to fully understand the mysteries of God, listen more to each other, speak what the Spirit has taught them and love unconditionally. We are apprenticing and one day we will know everything and be perfected. So be kind one to another.

Four ways in which you can determine your destiny

Sometimes watching a good teaching is a great way to lift your spirit if you are feeling overwhelmed. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 ... Watching a teacher or preacher should not replace our going to the word to see what God says. However we can sometimes jumpstart our get up and go by watching or listening to a sermon/teaching and then going to the word and researching what God says. Phillippians 4:8 shows us that if we are listening or watching good news then we can think on these things. God has so many of his servants all over the place bringing and teaching about his goodness and we can benefit from these men and women. So be encouraged, grab your Bible, put on a teaching and follow along. Your spirit will thank you for uplifting words and encouragement to your heart.
