Today is Orange Day. Wear anything orange!! This is to support and ensure we are moving towards reconciliation with our Indigenous nations. For 7 generations white settlers took the children of Indigenous nations in Canada and placed them in residential schools to take their culture, their language and their identity. 7 generations. Today and everyday we listen with empathy and ensure that we recognize the truth.
