All Rugby Players: Touch Rugby this Fall is NOT a simple drop-in sport, it is Club Rugby. The schools are NOT running this sport program, either. This means that the Prince Rupert Seamen have to provide the required insurance through BCRU via Rugby Canada. Anyone is welcome to attend BUT they MUST REGISTER through Sportlomo (https://www.sportlomo.com/login/) to be allowed to attend. There is a small registration fee that must be paid (under $30). Furthermore, due to the COVID...19 pandemic, EVERY player must complete a COVID-free attestation before EVERY practice. This survey is available on the day before or the day of practice on Sportlomo. If you do not fill out the survey (or register), you will be asked to leave. We are being watched closely by the BCRU. They have banned at least one team in the Okanagan from playing for a year and fined others due to improper management of the pandemic risks; the Seamen are not willing to take chances because people won't fill out a simple questionnaire twice a week. Please follow the guidelines.

Good morning Touch Rugby is scheduled at CHSS on Thursday evening at 6pm. Hopefully it will be a nice evening and we get lots of people out. You MUST register with the Seamen and pay the $30 dues for the three months. You cannot just show up to practice as your name MUST be attached by and Administrator to the online scheduled practice to be valid. You will get an email with a link to follow once you are signed up and part of the online platform... You MUST follow the link to find the "ATTENDANCE" link on the SportLomo site (on the left). Click that and then on the right will be a button that looks like a bar graph. Hit that and fill out the questionnaire for the covid-related waiver. ALL answers should be YES if you are healthy. And then you have the choice of checkmark or X to denote whether you are coming, which by that point (if you've come this far) obviously a Yes, so check it off. We have to have this covid attestation done each time and everyone who comes must be registered and get put on the "roster" to get the link open to fill it out. If you get the email multiple times for whatever reason (my internet is crazy today), just fill out one survey. It's not a hard process but it must be done to meet the requirements of BCRU. See you on Thursday. Andy
