When she is not working at the clinic she enjoys gaining valuable on field experience working as a trainer with local football and hockey teams. While I am focusing on more Manual Osteopathy based treatments, I am still incorporating the healing properties of Massage Therapy! In your Manual Osteopathy treatment you still receive the care and focus that you would during a massage. The biggest difference is that the treatment is clothed and in osteopathy we are able to assess and further identify where the main restrictions or adhesions are in the body. This may be in the musculoskeletal system, cranium or lymphatic system, or in the visceral fascia surrounding the organs. When we identify the priority lesions or restrictions, we are able to fully treat the dysfunction and correct all of the body’s imbalances.
