As p...er my text, to Ryan’s show, Dr. Warneke touched many lives during his career. One way to truly honour him would be for Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta to rename name the Gender Program in Edmonton in his honour. See more

Upon returning home from a short trip to the mountains (with no cellular coverage or a working phone), I was sadden to hear of Dr. Warneke’s sudden passing. We had many connections together, as he was one of my health care providers and when we worked collaboratively to make positive, proactive change for others. He was an amazing ally who changed the lives of many. He will be missed. RIP Dr. Warneke.
