We’ve come a long way! Parkland Audio started by providing installs and doing productions. Over the past 19 years we have done hundreds of productions, continuing installs for venues, churches, organizations and added rental of quality equipment! Meet Mike and Renee Fleming. They are the wonderful owners of Parkland Audio in Red Deer. They bought the business in 2016 and have been supporting Central Albe...rta’s live events ever since. Parkland Audio provides audio, video and lighting rentals, set up and take down as well as full production for small and large events across Central Alberta and beyond! 2020 has hit their business hard, like so many others. When asked how people can support them Renee responded by saying Buy local, word of mouth from customers is the biggest plus for us, we are local and will help from design, purchase and after the sale. Here’s a sneak peek of an install we did this past week at St. Andrews United Church in Lacombe. The church upgraded their live streaming set up to a wall-mounted PTZ Optics 1080p, 20X optical zoom, motorized camera. The 9 programmable preset camera positions make it super easy for anyone to use. We paired the camera with an Inogeni HDMI/USB converter, and chose OBS software for live streaming to Facebook. Their new Focusrite Scarlett audio interface works great to receive sound from the house system to send to the livestream. We also had a training session with their staff and volunteers. We’re so happy to help make professional live streaming and recording convenient and easy for St. Andrews United Church!
