October is Women's History Month and we just wanted to recognize the side of history that is often left untold, particularly for those women that face other socioeconomic barriers to being heard. We encourage everyone to take some time this month to research some of the amazing contributions women have made throughout history. To quote from the late Ruth Bater Ginsburg, a woman whose voice certainly changed the course of history, "My mother told me to be a lady. And for her, that meant be your own person, be independent."

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! The semester is well under way and our volunteers are working hard on their projects. Hopefully this weekend gives everyone the chance to relax and spend time with family and friends!
