PMA Summerside recently had a belt Testing for few kids who had qualified for their belt test. As part of the belt testing requirement, they are required to write an essay pertaining to their belt that they are getting tested. When we read their essays, we find that the kids really have worked hard to express their thoughts in their essays. Really shows their character and we feel PMA summerside is making a difference in their life. We would like to share excerpts from the ki...ds essays. Good Job Kids!! How having a good attitude makes you more successful in Life- Green Belt test requirement "............A great role in good attitude is confidence. Your must be confident and believe that you can do it. If you never have confidence in the frat place it doesnt matter if you get up and try again, you wont have any urge to keep going, and to succeed.............." "........... You may have lots of skill to succeed but when you dont have a good attitude, it can make the most skilled person run away. You need both parts skills and attitude in order to succeed, you cant have only one..........." Importance of Good Manners- Orange Belt test requirement "........It helps us to develop good habits which improves the physical, Mental and social wel-being of a person. A well mannered man can hep in the overall development of the community...." what is Respect - Yellow Belt test requirement "Respect is to listen to others and my family..... Writing this essay about respect has reminded me that respect means a lot! It is the best wayt to make everyone feel good."

Remembrance Day isn't just about war and those we've lost, but about ideals and what we stand for. It's about respecting our past and looking hopefully ...

I had the wonderful opportunity to chat with students of PRO Martial Arts of Summerside this morning to discuss how to handle bullying in school. We had a great... discussion regarding respect and having an attitude of inclusion as well as learning to understand different perspectives as a foundation to establish dialogue. Thank you to owner, Bhupinder Singh, for inviting me as part of Bullying Awareness Month. PRO Martial Arts of Summerside has dedicated classes on anti-bullying and predatory prevention. Their studio is open Monday to Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:30 to 12:00 PM. As someone who studies the martial art of Karate I can attest that the discipline and positive attitude one learns in the dojo is an asset that will help guide one through ones entire life. It was an absolute pleasure to chat with the children and later the parents on such an important subject. Thanks again Bhupinder!
