#MeetProActive - Cassandra Kieley, PT Meet another one of our new Physiotherapists, Cassandra Kieley! She will be working out of our clinic in Kelligrews. Cassandra received her bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2017, completing her last work term with ProActive. Cassandra then continued her studies at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, graduating with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2020. Cassandra takes special interest ...in rehabilitation following work related injuries, completing an independent qualitative research study in this area for her Master's dissertation. Currently, in her free time Cassandra is an avid hiker who loves to explore Newfoundland's beautiful east coast trails. She also has a sports history playing basketball and soccer, as well as competitive cheerleading, competing both nationally and internationally. Cassandra enjoys working with proactive because of the large community presence, combined with the variety of services and support offered. #MeetProActive - Ben Dooley, Physiotherapist Ben is a new physiotherapist at our Commonwealth Avenue location who believes in a patient-centred and active approach to treatments and recovery, utilizing exercise and manual therapy. He enjoys working at ProActive because of the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, as well as the friendly team environment at the clinics. Ben completed his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in Gl...asgow, Scotland. When he was Glasgow, he had the opportunity to work with rugby teams while completing his degree. Prior to this, he graduated from Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Science, where he spent time working as a student athletic trainer with the Men’s and Women’s soccer and basketball teams. In his off time, Ben enjoys playing various sports, especially hockey or golf, and enjoys hiking and travelling.
