Hi there, thanks for checking in! Physical distancing, has evolved to be a crucial part of managing the COVID-19 Pandemic and it has introduced a shift in the way health care will be delivered. Pre-visit screening, video sessions (Tele-rehabilitation), increased sanitization protocols and strict criteria for in-person visits is becoming the new normal. We want you to know that We are OPEN, call us at 306 783 1019 to schedule your needed physiotherapy appointment. We are manag...ing new and existing clients through the following options: Telephone, Video appointments also called Virtual sessions or Tele-Rehabilitation and In Clinic Visits, if appropriate after a Screen is performed. You may also visit our online booking page, https://proactive-physio.janeapp.com/ to schedule an appointment. We want to assure you that we have introduced protocols for the safety of our clients, staff and community as a whole. These protocols are consistent with *Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists’ (SCPT) practice guidelines for opening Physiotherapy Clinics under Phase 1 of the Provincial Government’s re-open Saskatchewan Plan. Please Note that visits to the clinic for inquiries and treatment sessions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We recommend that you take a self assessment for COVID-19 at https://www.811healthline.ca/covid-19-self-assessment/ if you have concerns and act accordingly. Refrain from coming to the clinic or going out to public spaces if you are unwell with COVID-19. Stay at home to protect yourself and the community as a whole. If you have an emergency, call 811 or 911. Remember to stay active and hydrated, wash your hands frequently, wear a mask and avoid touching your face. Proactive Physiotherapy’ We look forward to empowering and working with you to move better, move more, be proactive and age well.

COVID 19 update. At Proactive Physiotherapy we are closely following the ever changing development of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment to our patients and staff. As such we are asking patients to reschedule their appointment if you are feeling unwell with a fever cough or shortness of breath. In addition to rescheduling your appointment we recommend contacting the health line at 811 for further assistance if you’re experienc...ing the above symptoms. If you’ve travelled overseas in the last fourteen days prior to your appointment or has a family member who did, please call the clinic to reschedule your appointment as well in order to help reduce the spread of COVID 19. There will be no cancellation fee or penalty for those patients that choose to reschedule. We will be asking patients who present to the clinic with signs and symptoms of an illness to return home in order to help protect our staff and other patients. Our normal disinfectant procedures and universal precautions will be continued with a more frequent schedule of cleaning on common work surfaces including point of sales machines countertops and of course treatment tables etc. We will also be asking patients to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to treatment and prior to departure from the clinic. The clinic will remain open until further recommendations from physiotherapy governing bodies and the health authority have been received. Please feel free to contact the clinic if you have further questions or concerns. Abiodun Adefolarin, FCAMPT.
