Fight 2 of 3 Miami October 17, 2020 Win by Armbar from closed guard This was a solid fight against a strong... competitor, having seen his style in his first match I knew that playing a control game would be in my favor. I apply some of the most basic rules of Jiu jitsu in order to secure the submission. I am constantly breaking and re breaking grips, use 2 on 1 control to get an advantageous angle, and don’t open my guard until I know for sure I have the armlock. We always tell the kids @forcacentre - if you don’t open your guard, you can’t lose.
