What a day 2 at Bay of Islands WhitefishFalls. All anglers had to battle high winds at times. 3 to 5 maby higher foot waves depending who went where. At times i...t rained but overall a great day and great weekend and we had big bags and big bass where caught by all. Sitting in first after day one with a healthy lead but need to do it again tomorrow. We’re in new water in the Bay of Islands and winds don’t look good for mid day. Kerry Paquette and I will give it 150% and hope to take the Classic title.

Just over one week to go for our 2 day classic. Saturday we will be launching from J&G Marina in McGregor Bay and Sunday from Hills Acres Camp Whitefish Falls. ...Both days we will be launching at 8am and weigh-in is at 4pm. Parking fee for McGregor will be $15 and Whitefish Falls will be $20. Entry fee with big fish for each day included will be $360. We will collect all entry fees and boat launch fees for both days Saturday morning so we ask that everyone is payed up and boats are launch by 7:30am do to the fact we have to travel a little ways for blastoff. Only members that fished at least 2 tournaments can participate in the 2 day event. A reminder that Pre Fish cut off time is this Sunday September 6th on either side of highway 6. See more

Last weekends results on Lake Penage. Jackie and I caught tons of fish and were upgrading our weight through the day but couldn’t find the big ones. With second place at 15.65, third at 15.02 and us at 15.01...you know it’s a close event (other than the winners who smashed the leaderboard with over 19 pounds! Now we focus on the 2 day Classic September 12th and 13th.
