Small Business Spotlight Profoxx Energy Services Ltd. ProFoxx’s founder Daryl Cuthill originally came to Fox Creek in 2006 with the family company Lionhead En...gineering, which specialized in well, facility, and pipeline abandonment. With the surrounding oil and gas infrastructure aging and in need of abandonment, Fox Creek was an ideal place for the company to be in. The following year, Lionhead would join forces with CCS (now Tervita) and build the shop that much of the community would now recognize as the Paramount Resources shop. By 2010/2011, Daryl had built a home, settled in with his family, and developed a great network of friends and working relationships in the area. So, when the time came for Tervita and Lionhead to part ways, it only made sense that Fox Creek would be the place to start up ProFoxx. When asked how he got his concept for ProFoxx, Daryl said The concept for ProFoxx was never clearly defined in the beginning, we didn’t know what we wanted to be when we grew up. If anything, it was based on what we knew we were good at. We could work hard, be professional and learn what we didn’t know. With that and the simple mission of wanting to be a company that would be the first call for producers in the area, based on our safety, people, and professionalism, ProFoxx was formed. Now, after being in business almost a decade ProFoxx’s mission has not waivered. Since its humble beginning, ProFoxx has grown in a multitude of ways and has shown that they are going to continue to grow. They currently offer full-service mechanical construction and are a maintenance contractor offering welding and pipefitting services to Fox Creek and the surrounding area. ProFoxx Energy Services sister company, ProFoxx Rentals offers a full line of rental equipment and hydraulic hose repair to the Fox Creek area as well. There is also considerable pride in how much growth the company’s safety and people first culture has seen over the years. The team continues to foster those core values and with every new member, so that their culture grows even more. It is these values, the team mentality, and the professionalism of the staff ProFoxx attributes to its continued success. While growing themselves, ProFoxx has also takes pride that they have worked hard to assist in the growth of our community by donating to the Fox Creek School, local charities, and the many not for profit groups Fox Creek has to offer. We can attribute that generosity to their belief in the importance of having a great sense of community, and the sense of obligation to give back to our community and youth. Our youth are our next leaders of Fox Creek and just maybe our next leader of ProFoxx. We like to think the initiatives and donations that we put forth as a business into our community and youth has the potential to changes lives for the betterand it just feels good to be able to help others out. ProFoxx strives to be the best at what they do, and to continue to be an easy button for their customers.
