My name is Greg Ellard. I have been an avid boater on Lake Superior for my entire life. I have cruised in all kinds of weather, both fair and foul and DFI worked in all situations. Having a clear windshield at all times is of critical importance as you can imagine. This includes being able to see every wave during challenging seas, or even debris in the water during calm seas. I first applied DFI with a do-it-yourself kit supplied by Len at ProGraphix. This was on a 30... powerboat. I found that it worked well and was very impressed with the product. So, in 2018 when I bought a 47 foot cruiser powerboat, I requested Len from ProGraphix to apply the product professionally. As this boat is like a floating RV with an extremely large windshield area, I wanted to utilize the product to its upmost potential. It’s nice to get a customers feedback on our products! Being a little sceptical about additives and coatings I thought I was wasting my money but was talked into trying it. When I picked up my truck it was raining but I noticed the water running right off the windshield but realistically a fresh waxing would have done the same thing.... The proof is in the drive. As I proceeded home via trans Canada highway with the rain still coming down I noticed that I did not turn on my wipers and thought to myself (this stuff is amazing, I can see perfectly even with the added spray from the surrounding vehicles, but will it last?) I’m writing this after 3 months of the product being applied and yes it is still amazing what it does. Water runs right off, no calcium marks after washing, the windshield does not have night time glare from oncoming traffic even in the rain, frost seems to just disappear and the windshield always appears to be clean.
