Progressions Dance & Acrobatics is pleased to announce Immediate Openings Available for our AcroDance Preschool Program About AcroDance PreSchool curriculum: This curriculum focuses on physical literacy. This is not a program designed to teach students back handsprings and walkovers. You can expect to find skills like: Pike Position, Skipping, Marching, Pre Cartwheel, Plie, Tendu, etc. The focus of this program includes learning the acro positions, locomotive skills (...jumping, hoping, etc), balance skills, classroom behaviour skills, movement concepts, cooperation and social skills. New Student Registration Progressions Dance & Acrobatics is pleased to announce Registration for new students for our Fall dance semester!!! Thank you for your patience with our re-opening. We have been making up classes that were missed due to Covid closure with our currently enrolled dancers.... We are now accepting new enrollments for the Fall Dance semester which is planned to begin October 11th, 2020.Please review our schedule carefully for information on class times, dates and age levels. To request a new student enrollment please send a request via email to : [email protected]. Please follow instructions carefully to ensure your request is processed accurate and in a timely manner. *In the subject field please include the preferred class ( ex. Hip Hop/ Jazz Flare, AcroDance, etc). * In the body of the email please provide us with the students full name, age and date of birth. (*Special note to parents of Pre-school students Please include your preferred timeslot and day and remember to choose one of each Acrobatic Arts Pre-School Class and Acro Dance Class as listed on the schedule *). Due to the overwhelming response of interest and limited spaces available we will contact you via email to confirm your registration. Please send an email to: [email protected] Important ***Please indicate in the body of the email if you would like to avail of the 1 class or 2 class per week option as indicated below and which day you prefer if choosing the 1 class option. We are excited to be back in the studio and to get our adult programming underway. Hi guys!! Miss Kia here! I am so excited to get back in the studio with you all. Just a few quick notes: My hip hop/jazz classes will start on Monday, Sept 21st. ... My first adult Zumba classes will start on Sunday, Sept 27th. If you’d like your name added to our list for adult Zumba classes, or are requesting some additional info; please comment here! ***Important Updated Schedule *** Good Morning Dancers I hope everyone is enjoying you First week back at School and we are so excited to see you back in the Studio starting Monday. *For parents of returning students:... Please take note regarding our Covid-19 safety measures for returning students. Masks are to be worn at all times while inside the studio when social distancing cannot be maintained. We will not be required to wear masks during class; however once class has concluded we will be required to resume wearing our masks until exiting the building. As you may notice with our schedule for the remainder of September, classes that require special equipment usage such as Acrobatic Arts are staggered to allow sanitization time between classes. *For parents of Preschool Acrodance students Due to current safety regulations in place you will NOT be required to stay for the duration of your child’s class. You may escort them into the building and remain until class begins. Masks must also be worn by parents while on premises during drop off and pick up. Again, time staggering between classes will allow for materials and equipment to be properly sanitized between classes. * For parents of prospective New students A general registration for new enrollments will be posted in late September. Progressions Dance & Acrobatics is Happy to Announce that We will be re-opening for Our Fall Session of Class All students previously enrolled during our Spring Session which was cut short due to Covid-19, will have their remaining classes carried over to the Fall Session Start of New Classes is planned for Monday Sept 14th, 2020!... We are still revising our Schedule to accommodate our planned New Class Offerings: Full class schedule to be posted Soon Due to Covid-19 restrictions we have had new ventilation installed in our studio and will be practicing between class sanitizing procedures and socially distant curriculum variations in our space to keep everyone safe. An email regarding Covid-19 measures in place and waivers will be sent to all currently registered students prior to the beginning of the dance season. We want to send Best Wishes to All Students and Teachers returning to class for the 2020-2021 School year! Especially our Very own Miss Kia, who will also be offering an exciting new Adult Zumba class as a newly certified Zumba Instuctor Miss Kia and I look forward to the months ahead and are excited to welcome back our Wonderful Students this Fall!!!
