Every man lives in two realms: the internal and the external.-MLK As a trainer/coach we are given the job to help our clients perform movements correctly and safely within the parameters that we have set. How do we go about doing so and what is the most efficient way of completing this task. The research states that external cues are far more beneficial in adherence/execution in comparison to internal cues but to me there is a time and place for both. ... What we have here is the Double Barrel RC-P90 Landmine Shoulder Press. It’s Power Weapons or nothing in the multiplayer (Malisa and I). Get outta here with that DD44 Dostovei, Autoshot or Magnum!!! Malisa: Have you bought a new piece of clothing this year? When was the last time you bought something new? Fix up!! Me: No, but I have this Nautica pullover from 2005. Do you know what this thing has seen. It is about to a Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat with some Kettlebells in a front racked position. Apparel: Top: Nautica Pullover-Fashion Outlets 2005 Bottom: Canisius grey joints with the bottom eat up eat up-KAC 2005 ... A lunge is where an individual moves in space whether it be forward, backward or to the side. What we have here is a split squat stationary in nature. I have opted to use kettlebells in a front racked position do to the fact that this enables me to provide an added exposure to my abdominal region that otherwise would not have been stressed to the same degree if I simply held the weights beside my body. At home a small table or a stair will be sufficient in providing a suitable elevation for your rear foot to mimic this movement. Hol’ Up Ya Foot & Split Squat

It’s interesting how I can remember specific quotes from my childhood but ask me where I parked at the grocery store and it might take me a minute. You want Bonneville, I give you Bonneville. @drmannykumar Not an exquisite or limited edition car by any means but it certainly did the job for many years. From point A to point B was the objective and that is exactly what it delivered. It served its purpose!... The same can be said about the Field of Dreams Concept 2 Model A Rower. The first model manufactured by Concept 2 in 1983. It does not have the extensive programs, definitely is not as smooth/ergonomic as the newer models in its function but for me this model reflects much of how I see training and PHF. -Dynamic Horizontal pull -Ankle/Knee/Hip work simultaneously in order to perform an efficient movement pattern -A great teaching tool for an individual struggling to display force through their feet -Provides another exposure to the upper back that is often neglected Pops goin’ back back back

J and J Records Machine Kneeling Squat I find this particular movement where the weight used is on a fixed path quite beneficial in teaching an individual how to hinge correctly. There is much less moving parts=less THINGS to worry about with regard to stance and overall alignment of the body. This also serves as a great movement to promote healthy ankle mobility. Now let me get to the MAIN reason why we performed this movement. Bam Bam Season in other words glute deve...lopment since our training session this evening was just that . In terms of programming majority of the time I would place this near the end of a training session with moderate to high repetitions to fully exhaust that particular area. Monday Magic 1. Oh yes, they make terrific pair they went together like lamb and tuna fish Lamb & tuna fishhhhh? Well maybe not quite the same analogy but here lies a movement that I can get behind the Suicide Row. A combination lift which PAIRS a back extension on the glute ham bench with an underhand grip barbell row. The hamstring region is placed under a high degree of stress by having to hold the body up through the top portion of the movement and the rowing component is the on top to address an area of concern on MOST individuals. Sticking with the theme from yesterday concerning unilateral movements here is another one worth mentioning in the Heavy A*# Sled Drag. -There is no eccentric/lengthening portion of the movement which makes it beneficial in its use to stimulate recovery and very minimal injury risk associated for individuals with mobility issues. -Like with any movement there are an assortment of variations that can be implemented (Harness, Straps, Belt Squat Belt-shown above) and within these load, depth, foot position among many other variables can be altered.
