In collaboration with THEMUSEUM, we are so excited to announce that Project Trashion’s Waste Designer Riya Raj Gogoi (@riyarajgogoi) will be showcasing her pieces with other local and international artist as part of the bigger narrative. Independent grassroots communities, artists, and activists, are fighting for the same outcome Action for Climate Change. SPECTRUM | The Climate Emergency Experience is a temporary pop-up exhibition presented by THEMUSEUM at The Shops at... Waterloo Town Square. You will be completely immersed within each art installation in this one-of-a-kind experience that raises the ALARM on climate change. Look at the climate crisis in a whole new way today (literally!) as you are confronted with impressive installations which, like the scientific evidence of our changing climate, are impossible to ignore. We hope everyone is still riding that post fashion show high because we definitely are! But first, a few updates! The internal team has been working super hard for the past month and is currently still slowly working through all of the beautiful content. This years theme on the Waste & Art portion of the eco-fashion show highlights the common plastic waste we produce, use and unfortunately, overuse. Each outfit, model, and designer are highlighting a fraction of the plastic waste we commonly see every day and take for granted once we dispose of them. We want to highlight the beauty and consequences of what a world full of nothing but plastic would look like but never should come to reality.
