Canadian businesses affected by COVID-19 may be eligible for a subsidy that covers 75% of gross wages paid between March 15 to August 29. CEBA or Canada Emergency Business Account is a program launched by the Government of Canada to help small business owners during these uncertain and challenging times. This program offers loans up to $40,000 to small businesses and non profits to help pay for operating expenses. These loans are provided interest free until December 31 2022, at which point the remaining balance will be converted to a 5% 3 year term loan.
