Pierogies, vareniki... whatever you call this delicious food, head over to Ottawa Perogies and help them fight back.
A mural mystery. We could all use more peace, land, and cookies!
Hey, all you cool cats and comrades! This made us laugh. Replace the word "conservative" with "capitalistic"... Either way is good!
Holidays are coming...

Next time we're on the way to Brighton Beach, we'll have to give this place a try!
An interesting 1924 depiction of Lenin by Croatian artist Jozo Kljakovi (1889-1969)
Still sad about this guy. We will admit wholeheartedly that our secret wish as food truck workers was that we would work hard, have a bunch of great customers will full stomachs, and come to Anthony Bourdain's attention one day. Here's what he said about food trucks: ... "Any alternative to the conventional American fast food is a good thing. I see food trucks as an alternative to McDonald’s, so that alone is a great thing. You’re creating a market for individually owned and operated businesses serving, presumably, fast, cheap and delicious [food] that’s a positive thing. A lot of cities are fighting back. They don’t like these trucks and see them as a threat to brick-and-mortar; they don’t like the health aspects and there’s the likelihood that as we reach some sort of hipster fission, the bad guys will get in. You will see an Olive Garden food truck; it’s inevitable. But for the time being, I think it’s a really positive thing. I love them, I think they’re valuable, and they provide an opportunity for a lot of entrepreneurial chefs to do a lot of interesting things." Comrades! How are you commemorating International Workers Day?
We hope you will have a hot, comforting meal tonight after a hard working day. It's days like today (and overextended winters like this year's) that make us relieved to not be working the food truck ATM. We are searching for our next step. Slowly but surely
