A little excitement at Promotive today. A landscaping company ruptured a gas line in our front of our building. We were evacuated for the day. Not exactly what was on the schedule today. Feeling helpless. Sorry for the inconvenience to all my customers.

We received a Christmas card from a customer today. It was a little more special than some others. We travelled a little back in time with this one. This card is a special one. it’s hung around for over 12 years waiting for it’s moment. Sorry we will be closed on Friday August 2nd and taking advantage of the civic holiday on Monday August 5th. I felt it would be the best way to spend at least one extended weekend with the kids being off school for the summer. Had the pleasure of performing a safety on this 1969 Dodge Cornet RT. 440. Wish I had the money to buy this bad boy. The hot weather brings out the cool kids and their toys.

Needing some feedback!! Do you have a teenager ready to start driving or maybe you have been driving all you life and never have known how to change that tire or even add air. Maybe just unsure of where to put that windshield washer fluid, or add a litre of oil. We would love to put on a small seminar for these exact things and more!! Would this be something people would be interested in? We would be holding this at our shop. Also would supply some drinks and snacks. Maybe a nice gift bag?
