Pro Nova Ensemble

for our friend Hans-Karl Piltz.

The Pro Nova Ensemble is very saddened to announce the passing of Hans-Karl Piltz. Hans-Karl played viola and then violin with the ensemble for many years. Even after his retirement he continued to play a very active role with the group. Hans-Karl was a very familiar face to audiences at all of the Pro Nova concerts giving knowledgeable and humorous introductions to the music. Behind the scenes he continued to provide the ensemble with his wealth of information and experience. He will be sorely missed.
