We are excited about this project, but will have to see where it leads. Over 100 medics in Italy have unfortunately died from #coronavirus - One of the most dangerous procedures is intubation, because it easily spreads the virus to the doctors and nurses helping with the procedure. Some late night twitter searches found this idea, and GrainWave Design went to work and built a test unit. It will be donated to some local physicians who will test out its use and give us feedback on the design. Before its used in a medical setting it would also have to be approved by #MBHealth - but we are hopeful we might be able to help out.
