"While recently exploring Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, I visited the grave of William George Barker, the "Most decorated war hero in the history of Canada, the British Empire, and the Commonwealth of Nations." Barker perished during in an aviation accident in 1930 and was entombed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on March 15, 1930 following the largest state funeral the City of Toronto has ever seen.
