Office Update: Although the offices are still open, we are no longer holding in-person meetings with clients. Documents can be transferred through the mail slot in Saskatoon, or passed through the vestibule in Cudworth. We are keeping our regular office hours, and are always available by phone at 306-256-3207 or 306-934-6980. It's official: 2019 tax filing deadline for individuals has been extended to June 1, 2020 (from April 30, 2020). Taxes payable are now due to be paid by September 1, 2020. For corporations, all taxes owing between today and September 2020 are not due until September, and no interest or penalties will accrue during that time. Most GST and income tax audits will be suspended for at least 4 weeks. Employers will be able to reduce their source deductions remitted by 10% during this time. Taxes wait for no man...or virus. We are still open and accepting returns in both Saskatoon and Cudworth. Ally and Kelsey will be holding down the fort in Cudworth while Barry and Michelle work in Saskatoon, being more available for their family. Thankfully, the nature of our work allows us to safely provide services to our clients through brief meetings, phone calls and emails. Tax services are provided by Michelle Reaser, CPA, Prof. Corp.... We are looking for an individual to fill the full-time position of Administrative Assistant during a maternity leave. This position assists with the day to day functions of our busy accounting/bookkeeping office. We work with a variety of clients and businesses from all walks of life so there is always something new to learn and experience when working here. Duties & Responsibilities will include: Scheduling appointments with clients Answering phones and greeting clients in the office Oversee general office upkeep and functions Work with bookkeeping software for data entry and reconciliation Corresponding with clients regarding billing and payment Daily mail duties Qualifications & Skills Some bookkeeping experience is preferred however the right person can be trained on the job Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft operating system and Office software (Word and Excel) Must be able to stay focused and minimize errors when performing repetitive tasks such as data entry Confidentiality is a must. The successful candidate must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Cheery, helpful personality to present to clients with a focus on exceptional customer service.
