Just a quick tip: If you're crossing lanes of traffic,making a left hand turn, make sure no one is coming. If there is large snowbanks in the way of visibility, make a right hand turn instead. A few blocks in the wrong direction is far better than an accident. And if you're the one making the land hand turn, you'll be at fault with your insurance company. For example, 5th Ave, has massive snow banks separating the directions of traffic. Make a safe right hand turn instead. Worst case is you have to drive a few blocks to make a safe turn at a light. Much better than dealing with an accident and sky rocketing insurance premiums. Stay safe and warm out there everybody!!

Well, I guess it's safe to say that winter is here to stay. Be safe out there everyone. Make sure you have 1) Good winter tires 2) good wiper blades 3) Winter washer fluid 4) Roadside emergency kit.
