Obituary of VICTOR DEMCHENKO VICTOR DEMCHENKO January 1st 1933 November 6th 2020 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Victor Demchenko on November 6th, 2020 at the age of 87 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Stella Demchenko, and children Serge (Connie) Demchenko, Alexandra Demchenko, Fred Demchenko, Victor Demchenko, Philip (Andrea) Demchenko, Margaret Demchenko-Manegold (Dean Manegold), Odarka Demchenko, Natalia (Paul) Collette, and Boris (Heather) Demchenko and grandchildren Roman Demchenko, Tisa Demchenko (Will Hawboldt) Peter Demchenko, Katrina Demchenko, Rachelle Collette, Sara Collette, Nadia Demchenko, and Nickolas Manegold. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Zina Marusenko, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Victor was born in Ukraine January 1, 1933. He immigrated to Canada with his grandmother and Parents, (Fred and Daria), along with his siblings (Zina, Ben, and Mary (Spence) in 1949. Dad enjoyed many things in life, one in particular was always planting a garden every summer, and flowers in the front yard. He also always looked forward to traveling by train with mom to visit their children and grandchildren in Halifax and Ontario. Prior to his retirement Victor was employed as a Tinsmith for CN for 30 years. Active pallbearers will be his nephews. Forever loved, never to be forgotten, rest in peace dad.

Obituary of SOPHIE EVA STOCKMAL (NEE MICKOSKI) May 22, 1923- November 8, 2020 Sophie passed away peacefully at Holy Family Home. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Frank, her parents Eva and Philip, brothers Myron, John, William, Robert, Nicholas, sisters Olga, Irene and nephews Philip and Marty. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be fondly remembered by her close friends and neighbours. Sophie was employed with The College of Physicians and Surgeons and with the Manitoba Telephone System. She was a lifelong member of the ladies auxiliary at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Sophie loved to venture out by bus often going downtown to the Library, the Theatre and to shop. She loved fashion and kept a beautiful home and garden and welcomed everyone. She was an avid golfer with the Kildonan Park ladies league, and she also enjoyed bowling on leagues at Northgate Lanes. She loved adventures including summer trips to Clear Lake, winter trips to Hawaii and Jamaica, as well as cross border shopping trips. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As a token of Sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice. VICHNAYA PAMYAT
