Since the inception of Prototier-1, the automotive industry has been the core of our business model. Our history includes working with original equipment manufacturers (OEM), Tier-1, Tier-2, and aftermarket automotive suppliers.

We are experienced with forming different materials and material grades that are not uncommon in the automotive and appliance industries such as High-Strength Low-Alloy (HSLA) Steel, Dual-Phase (DP) Steel, Transformation Induced Plasticity (TRIP) Steel, Stainless Steel (SS), and Aluminum to name a few.

Our CNC Vertical Machining Centers are capable of producing parts up to 1400mm x 660mm x 6350mm (55 x 26x 25) in size.

Our experience in the automotive industry has led us to manufacture many different parts including but not limited to door, hood & liftgate hinges, engine mounts, seat tracks, door & hood latches, exhaust shields, brake pedals, and much more!

As an ISO 9001-2015 certified facility, Prototier-1 ensures all parts and assemblies are carefully inspected on the premises prior to being shipped. QA check includes a review of the original design specifications by a certified Quality Assurance specialist to ensure all customer specifications are as planned.

Over the past 20 years at Prototier-1, we have CNC cut thousands of dies used to form sheet metal prototypes as well as numerous inserts for customer production tooling. We use state-of-the-art equipment and software to provide our customers with the highest precision available.
