Originally from Kejimkujik, Nova Scotia, Sally graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2006. Prior to completing her degree in Physiotherapy, she graduated with honours from ICT Northumberland College with a diploma in Massage Therapy in 2002. Sally has been a practicing Physiotherapist in the Elmsdale community for the past nine years. Post-graduate courses that Sally has completed include: Level 1 Upper Quadrant Diploma of Advanced... Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Acupuncture Level 1, Level I Vestibular Training (focus in BPPV), MAT Level 1 Pilates for Core Rehabilitation, Sacroiliac Joint and Pelvis Complex (Part I and II), Custom knee bracing with Bledsoe, Gait Analysis & Custom Orthotic Therapy: TOG System, and Temporomandibular joint training for diagnosis of conditions and treatment (specialized in lock jaw). Sally is a certified Independent Medical Consultant (IMC) by the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association for continued treatment and diagnosis of conditions post motor vehicle collision. In her spare time, Sally enjoys spending time with her young son and husband and can be found enjoying the outdoors by running, hiking and skiing with her family. See more

Dr. Brad Ferguson completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Francis Xavier University in 2008. Following this he graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2012, achieving cum laude and clinic honours designations. Dr. Ferguson has furthered his education completing the Sports Sciences Residency Program at CMCC becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canad...a). Dr. Ferguson is also a certified medical acupuncture provider, certified strength and conditioning specialist and a Red Cross emergency first responder. Dr. Ferguson has completed over 2000 on-field hours with various sports and has been part of medical teams for the Pan-Am Games, Nova Scotia Weightlifting Association, Hockey Nova Scotia, East Hants Soccer Association among other national and international events. In his spare time he enjoys being active playing hockey, golf and spending time with his family. He is proud to call East Hants home since 2015 and takes pride in getting involved in community events and giving back.

It was another big rally for the Angel Tree Local Food Bank this year. Every year we help bring Christmas to a local family in need. As our team grows at PROTx so does the family that we donate to. PROTx is happy to announce the addition of a new chiropractor to our team. Starting November 30th we will welcome Dr. Trevor Neable to the clinic. He will be taking over Dr. Samantha Burchill's practice as she is moving to practice in New Brunswick. Here is a bit of a background on Dr. Trevor Neable. Dr. Trevor Neable completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Guelph and then pursued his dream of becoming a Chiropractor by attending the Canadian Memorial ...Chiropractic College. Dr. Neable is originally from Ontario but grew up in Huntington Beach, California.Dr. Neable treats each patient as a unique individual, and uses a combination of manual therapy, exercises, acupuncture and other therapeutic modalities to achieve the patients' goals. When Dr. Neable is not in the office serving the community of East Hants, he enjoys being active, playing hockey, surfing, travelling, and exploring the outdoors. Welcome to the team Dr. Neable

The clinic will be closed tomorrow, November 11th for Remembrance Day. We are fortunate at PROTx to work with both active military members and veterans regularly. We have seen some of the physical and mental sacrifices of service first hand, and it is both inspiring and humbling. To live in Canada is a privilege and we are thankful to those who have served and paid the ultimate price to protect our freedom and way of life.... Lest we forget

PROTx massage therapist, Shelly Morash is taking on the great cycle challenge to raise money for fighting kids' cancer. She is biking 75 km and raising money along the way. Click the link for more details or if you are interested in supporting Shelly and the fight against kids cancer.
