Effective Immediately - masks are now required in all indoor public spaces in BC. Be kind to each other and our staff as we adhere to this new public health order. Do like Dino and help stop the spread of COVID-19!

The museum has a lot to be thankful for this weekend! Our amazing friends and partners at La Prairie Crane, Argo Road Maintenance, BC Transportation and Infrastructure, & SL Enterprizes Ltd. have all come together to help us recover some exciting new fossil material! So slow down and drive safe tomorrow if you’re headed to Chetwynd and give the team a honk and a wave!

The museum is always monitoring hazards and risks, especially at our tracksites. We're sad to announce the need to suspend our lantern tours to the Wolverine River Tracksite as the bank above the site continues to erode. The falling debris is becoming larger in size and as such poses significant safety concerns. We are working on solutions for this issue with our partners to ensure we can reopen the site safely. Please don't access this site until we have cleared it - the dan...ger is very real and can cause serious injury. A huge thank you to Conuma Coal Resources for donating the hardhats we needed to offer the tour up until this week! Our daytime Cabin Pool Tracksite Tour continues as normal, but spots are filling up quickly, so book today! https://www.trmf.ca/events/dinosaur-trackway-tours

The museum had a security call late last night due to a break-in. It appears the alarm scared them off and the RCMP arrived quickly. Luckily nothing was damaged or taken. We want to thank the RCMP for their quick response and to the community members who gave statements. When we all look out for each other, we all stay safe!
