PSAC North NWT Women's Regional Committee would like to thank all members and volunteers for helping out during the Warming from the Heart Clothing Drive. With your generosity, the committee was able to deliver at least 70 winter kits and bags of toques and socks that will help women, men and children who need them during this cold weather. Donations were delivered to Street Outreach Program, Side Door Youth Shelter, RCMP, Fire Division and Emergency Department.

On National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, PSAC remembers the fourteen young women who were killed at l’École Polytechnique on December 6, 1989, because they were women, and today, PSAC also recommits to ending all forms of gender-based violence.
