Hello High Park School Community! Tonight is the first Scholastic Book Fair Family Event which goes from 6-8pm https://virtualbookfairs.scholastic.ca/pages/5153163 During that 2 hour window of time any purchases made will be shipped for free directly to your home no matter how much or how little you order. If anyone is wondering what some of the books are about, there are many Book Trailers available where you can watch a short video where the author tells you all about their book. Grab some popcorn, the book wishlists and enjoy a safe shopping experience from home! Thanks for the support Everyone. :))

Our librarian Mrs. Collett is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our very first virtual book fair! Scholastic Books, who usually provide us with our in-person books fair, has given us a virtual option this year. Happy Halloween High Park Families! Although our hallways were eerily quiet, our virtual parent teacher conferences last week were successful. We thank you for connecting with our teachers and for the great conversations about your amazing children! As you may have heard the Alberta Government has made changes to the daily health checklist for students. These changes are updated on our district’s Feeling Sick? What to do page. ... As the weather changes and winter gear is coming out please make sure you are clearly marking your child’s gear with student names or initials as we have many identical footwear etc. Another reminder that we are asking parents to give the office a call before entering the building, we understand it is not always feasible to make an appointment before coming to the school so we are asking that you give us a call when you get here so we can best help you, and keep our staff and students safe. All visitors must wear a face covering and report to the office to sign in. If you are dropping items off, please call the office when you arrive and we can come out and retrieve the item from you. If you are picking up your child early for an appointment, please ensure you email the office at [email protected] and your child’s teacher ahead of time. Once you arrive, please call the office and wait outside or in your car and we will send your child out to you.
