Today was a super busy day but good came out of it. Lots of needs met and a huge "Good Luck" to a giant step on one of our individuals on his path to recovery.

Meet Jim Woolley. Jim has been steadfast in helping anyone he comes into contact with in the Drop-In and out on the street. His people skills are huge and his likeable personality makes people comfortable around him and talking to him. He is a full time trucker and spends his off hours helping. Some days you will find his showing up with a silly grin throwing open a a door and say Carry it in LOL, he never misses his weekly visit to our Health Unit for us (I think he like the interaction there) But anyways, Jim comes from a background of helping Community Services/Organizations in many forms (sometimes so quiet you don't know he is there) as well as Mental Health & Addictions, including family members. We Thank him for all his help and silly grin.

We all have a past and learning to overcome and move forward is only part of our journey. If we treat people with disrespect or don't give hope or opportunities in life than how can one learn, accomplish and move on to better outcomes?
